      The assembly financial analyst will assist the Plant Controller in the maintenance of accounting systems to ensure proper reporting, budgeting and control of plant financial activities. Duties will include preparation and analysis of monthly variances in labor, materials, and overhead as well as ensuring that company policies are followed in the acquisition of fixed assets, materials and other expenditures. A strong emphasis will be placed on scrap reporting and cost saving initiatives.

      Highlights of your role

      • Provide appropriate reporting and analysis of material, overhead and labor variances at the departmental and product level. Drive corrective action with departments as needed to adhere to budgetary and performance goals
      • Audit Bills of Material and labor routings to assure proper inventory and costing transactions
      • Assist in the monitoring of inventory accuracy for both cost and quantity
      • Facilitate annual budgeting process
      • Develop product costs for new products and changes to existing products.
      • Facilitate monthly financial reviews and reporting with appropriate managers to review performance to plan
      • Work on special projects as assigned

      You're a good fit if you have

      • Effective communication, time management & presentation skills
      • Ability to procure and organize data to provide meaningful information
      • Ability to plan, facilitate and lead meetings
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      • Exposure to SmartSheet, Qlik, and other BI tools preferred
      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or related
      • 2 - 6 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
      • Public Accounting experience a plus.
