      The Enterprise Transportation, Safety & Compliance Specialist supports the development, evaluation, administration, and implementation of moderate to complex transportation safety and DOT compliance programs. The goal of this role is to partner with Transportation Safety personnel and internal Marvin employees to achieve a safe work environment and ensure compliance within the organization.

      No remote option.

      Required to be onsite at any of these locations:

      • Warroad, MN
      • Eagan, MN
      • Fargo, ND

      Highlights of your role

      • Ensure safety compliance both multi-state and international including driver qualification, hiring standards, drug/alcohol programs, etc.
      • Support business unit remote/field operations through site audits/investigations, training, and development of site-specific safety objectives and action plans.
      • Support and manage training programs, communications to new hires, post-accident, and annual refreshers.
      • Partner in the development and execution to adhere to applicable federal compliance requirements.
      • Interpret policies, procedures, guidelines, legal and regulatory statutes.
      • Collaborate with the Transportation Safety Manager and other key business stakeholders to evaluate high risk areas and program non-compliance.
      • Maintain reporting of safety compliance scorecards and metrics.
      • Coordinate vendor management of applicable systems and programs.
      • Contribute to process improvements to advance the program value proposition for Enterprise partners.
      • Review and maintain program policies, procedures, process flows and other similar responsibilities while serving as a compliance resource to key stakeholders.
      • Communicate and implement those standards across the organization.

      You're a good fit if you have

      • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
      • 2-4 years of relevant transportation safety and compliance work experience
      • Demonstrated experience in Transportation programs, compliance, DOT and/or OSHA standards preferred
      • Ability to read, interpret, and apply state and federal regulations, standards, and requirements
      • Demonstrated attention to detail, prioritization, critical thinking, problem analysis and resolution skills
      • Ability to collaborate on cross functional teams, learn and understand systems and software and maintain highly confidential information
      • This position is on site at one of our Marvin locations, specifically in Eagan/Warroad, MN or Fargo, ND.
      • Ability to travel on your own to Marvin sites with the use of our company shuttle (
